Quiet room, friendly staff, with the hotel's convenient location near attractions making our stay enjoyable. the attentive customer service from Ed at the front desk and the lovely lady who provided us warm towels really stood out.

the holiday inn amazed us! our rooms were super clean, quiet, and the beds were so comfy. breakfast had extended hours which was perfect for our family. the location is great, close to buckroe beach and downtown. our daughter loved the mariner's museum nearby! staff were friendly and helpful.

The breakfast had a decent variety, but the food quality could be better. I booked three nights and appreciated the extended breakfast hours. Parking was easy and I liked the close access to downtown Newport News and Buckroe Beach. However, the dining options inside the hotel were limited and could use improvement. Bigger menus or better food quality would make the experience even better. The location was great for exploring local attractions. I'd definitely return but hope to see an upgrade in food options next time.

Burger Theory was a winning culinary find with killer vegan options. The staff were top-notch—quick, friendly, and the lobby felt fresh and classy! You could tell this place really cares for its guests.

We had a tough time with housekeeping, consistently having to chase down clean towels, and the pool area was in serious need of a clean-up. The bathroom floor looked like it hadn't seen a mop in ages!
